School silent auctions

The school silent auction, minus the pay table

A week of online bidding that wraps up at your family night. Families bid from their phones, get a text when they're outbid, and winners check out automatically.

Everything a PTA auction needs

Bid from anywhere

Grandparents across the country can bid alongside parents in the gym. Items are numbered and grouped, with search and a "My bids" list.

Outbid alerts by text and email

Bidders hear right away when someone beats their bid, with a link to bid again, plus a reminder the day before and an hour before bidding ends.

Close it at your event

Set bidding to end during your movie night or gala. Late bids keep an item open a couple more minutes, so the finish is fair.

No checkout line

Your choice: winners' saved cards are charged when bidding ends, or each winner gets one link to pay. Either way it's one payment and one receipt for everything they won. If a card is declined, the winner gets a link to pay another way, and we try again.

Ideas that fit your group

Browse ready-made items that cost you nothing to offer, picked for schools, teams, bands, clubs and community groups. Fill in the blanks, add one for each teacher or coach, and print table cards with QR codes.

Receipts done right

Enter each item's fair value, and the winner's receipt shows it, so they know what part of their payment may be tax-deductible.

Donations alongside

Not everyone wants to bid. A Donate button sits next to the auction, and both count toward one goal.

The items families fight over

The best school auction items cost nothing to offer. They're experiences only your school can give.

  • Principal or teacher for a day
  • Reserved parking spot for a semester
  • Front-row seats at graduation or the spring concert
  • A class party with a favorite teacher
  • Naming rights for the class pet or a reading nook
  • Gift cards and baskets from local businesses

School auction questions

Can people bid online and in person?

Yes. Bidding happens on phones and computers, so guests at your event bid the same way as people at home, right up to the close.

How do winners pay?

You choose. Usually bidders save a card when they register, and when bidding ends each winner is charged once for everything they won. Or skip the card and we email and text each winner one link to pay, with friendly reminders. Either way they get one receipt by email.

Do bidders need an account?

They register with their name and email and confirm a 6-digit code we email them. There's no password. A saved card stays ready for future auctions until they remove it, or 30 days after their last auction is paid.

What if two people bid at the last second?

A bid in the final minutes keeps that item open a little longer, so others get a fair chance to respond.

Can we see who won what for pickup?

Yes. Download a winners list with item numbers, names and contact details for your pickup table.

Can we take donations too?

Yes. Your auction page has a Donate button, and donations and auction sales count toward the same goal.
